To make the capsule toy (gacha) experience more fun and immersive, I worked on the interaction design for acquiring character models.

I crafted the UI and animation for the reveal sequence, focusing on creating a moment that feels rewarding and clearly communicates the result to the player.

I created a illustrated version of capsule at first, but in order to fit better with the realistic art style, we switched to a rendered picture of the capsule model.

Each capsule toy machine has its own theme, and to support the game’s world-view and recognition, I developed a logo system that feels authentic to the game's setting.

I designed playful, modern katakana lettering, integrated yokai silhouettes into the strokes, and produced 9 unique color variants to match each machine’s theme.

In rare cases where photo mode becomes unavailable due to system constraints, there was no feedback to the player.

I addressed this UX gap by introducing a “no camera” icon placed beside the mini map to communicate the restriction clearly and in a not obtrusive way.

The game allows players to initiate a stealth air strike from higher ground, followed by a brief silent movement window.

I visualized this mechanic by designing a clear action icon for the strike, along with an animated countdown indicator that communicates how long the stealth effect lasts to enhance both clarity and timing feedback.

To enrich the player’s creative experience in the photo mode, I created a cohesive set of icons used across menus, pop-ups for collectibles like stamps and models.

I also contributed decorative frames and a special anniversary stamp, making photo editing experience more engaging and expressive.

To encourage players to do exploration and side quests, I created a set of icons that mark key activities and rewards across the game world. These icons were designed for quick recognition and consistency. I also designed NPC icons used in HUD for the Spider’s Thread update to maintain visual clarity.

I designed all the achievement icons for all platforms. The icons reflect the spirit of each achievement using slightly dramatic visual language to communicate action, challenge, and progression.
